  • March: "Trunk Show" - Lisa Alley of Bear Hug Quilting tells her quilt story as she shares quilts and quilts and patterns from her journey.
  • April: "Trunk Show" - Quilt masters Rob and Betty Ford will share their passion for making precise, beautiful quilts.
  • May: "Collage Quilts" - Learn more about the very popular collage quilt patterns by Laura Heine with Todd from the Quilt Shop in Boone.
  • June: Joint Meeting @ 6pm-Covered Dish. "Inspiration Trunk Show" - Candace Hassen from Quilts by Candace will discuss strategies to stay organized throughout a project, make design decisions, and give you tools to keep your own projects moving from start to finish.
  • July: "Landscape Quilts" - Patty Blanton from Sew Original will share her expertise in creating and finishing landscape quilts. 
  • August: "Finishing Quilts" - Can't quite finish a quilt?  Gregg Colson will share great tips on how to get your quilt completed.
  • September: Joint Meeting @ 6pm. "I'll Never be a Quilter" - Karen Ponischel uses her quilts to tell her story and illustrate her progression to fiber artist and popular national speaker.
  • October: "Now You See It, Now You Don't" - Terrie Townsend from Bill's Sewing has fun with a twist on traditional blocks creating disappearing designs.
  • November: "Fast and Fun Holiday Projects" - Mary Bucy and Kay Dwyer share quick and easy projects which could be completed and then used as holiday gifts.
  • December: Joint Meeting @ 6pm - Covered Dish. "Challenge Presentation" - Members show and present 2019 Challenge Quilts

  • March: ​"History of Quiltmaking in North Carolina" - Lisa Alley will share stories from across the state and through time and of the women who left a beautiful mark on the history of our state. The program includes a slide show ansd a truck show of antique quilts.
  • April: "Trunk Show" - Award winning quilt maker, Susan Edmonson will share her unique artistry.
  • May: "Needles and Thread" - Eve Agee takes the guessing away from choosing needles and thread to match your project.
  • June: Joint Meeting @ 6pm-Covered Dish. "Inspiration Trunk Show" - Candace Hassen from Quilts by Candace will discuss strategies to stay organized throughout a project, make design decisions, and give you tools to keep your own projects moving from start to finish.​
  • July: "Fabric Manipulation" - Patty Blanton from Sew Original will explore the many different options of fabric manipulation to create interesting textures.
  • August: "Free Motion Quilting" - Gregg Colson will encourage us with his expertise on machine quilting from workshops at the quilt show in Paducah, KY.
  • September: Joint Meeting @ 6pm. "I'll Never be a Quilter" - Karen Ponischel uses her quilts to tell her story and illustrate her progression to fiber artist and popular national speaker.
  • October: "Table Top Demos" - Come and learn the tricks of the trade from experienced members. Demos include 'The Perfect Sleeve', ' How to Sandwich a Quilt', etc.
